Gingerbread Discussion

Thank you for registering for our Third Annual Gingerbread House Competition as part of our Christmas in Chippewa event! Rules: • Each entrant (solo or group) is allowed to submit one structure. • All gingerbread houses must be 100% edible. Non-edible support structure materials other than the baseboard may not be used. • Non-edible decorations, like paint, ribbon, figurines, etc.…may be used ONLY to decorate your base • Gingerbread houses must be supported with a strong base. (plywood preferred) • Please include your name and gingerbread house title on the bottom of the base. • Registration forms must be turned (via online registration form) by Friday, December 5th, 2025 by Noon. • Gingerbread houses must be dropped off between 1:00 pm – 3:30 pm on Saturday, December 6th to Wright Fields @ Veteran’s Park. • All Gingerbread Houses will then be transported to the Chippewa Township Municipal Building at 2811 Darlington Road, Beaver Falls, PA 15010 to be displayed in our lobby through Christmas. Houses can then be picked up anytime after December 15th at the municipal building between 8:30 am - 4:00 pm. Any houses not picked up before Tuesday, December 23rd will be disposed of. Scoring: The winner in each age group will be chosen by “People’s Choice”. During our ‘Very Merry Christmas in Chippewa” Event on Saturday, December 6th from 4-7pm, the houses will be displayed. We will have tickets available for people to vote on their favorite house and most unique house. The house with the most votes for each age group wins. Age Groups: • Under 10 • 11-17 • 18 and up *If you are part of a group entry, the group must register for the age group of the oldest member Prizes (this is total, not per person in a group entry) • 1st place in each age group $50 Eat-N-Park Gift Card • 2nd place in each age group $25 Eat-N-Park Gift Card • 3rd place in each age group $10 Eat-N-Park Gift Card
