The traditional style consists of: 

  • Universal Feature: Two rooms wide, one and one- half rooms deep, with the half-room expansion in the rear of the house covered by an elongated roof on the backside

  • Shape:  Rectilinear I-House

  • Levels: Two-story 

  • Roof Style: Saltbox roof with side open-gabled walls

  • Front door: Centered front door

  • Fireplace: Central interior fireplace wiht the chimney along the roof ridge
