The tradition of building a gingerbread house gained immense popularity in the early 1800s. Fast forward two centuries, and it remains a cherished holiday activity for many, with the gingerbread baking community renowned for its supportive nature—be it for competitions, friends and family, or simply the joy of baking and architecture!
This year, let's elevate this tradition by using our passion for gingerbread to help those in need!
For the 2026 Gingerbread-Smackdown, each vote will require a minimum donation of $5.00, with 97% of the total donation being directed to a US-based non-profit charity selected by each entry. (The remainnig 3% of the donation goes towards credit card processing fees).
Please specify the US-based non organization that will receive the proceeds from the votes your entry receives.
To help insure photos are not created by AI and are actual gingerbread works of art, a minimum of three photos is required for each entry. Please provide photos from three different angles.
