This house has candy "glass" windows with inside piped curtains. Hand cut fondant shingles. Piped royal icing wrought iron fence around the property and roof line. Hand formed fondant pumpkins, tombstones, skull, stone pillars, and kitty cat. The tree is piped from royal icing along with all of the railings. The stairs, lightening rod, and "copper roof" are all made from fondant. I did this house as a challenge to myself. I'm used to doing my best to pipe perfectly, so to make this house looked aged and creepy was more of a challenge for me, than to pipe perfect rows. Hope you enjoy!
Almost all of the decoration on this house is piped using royal icing. Since the house is only 12 inches tall, store bought candy wasn't in proportion to the house. The roof is shingled in individually cut fondant shingles. The wrought iron fencing ( around the roof lines) was piped with a 00 tip, while the fence surrounding the property is piped with a 1 tip. All of the pumpkins and the black cat were done by hand using fondant. I used the Phantom Cookie Manor pattern, with some tweaks...
