Gabled Dormer Window

A structure with a gable roof that projects from the sloping roof of a building or is a continuation of the upper part of a wall so that the eave line is interrupted by the dormer. An upright window that projects from a sloping roof.

Curved Eyebrow Dormer Window

An arched roof dormer with no side walls; the roof simply curves to follow the arch of the window.

Hipped Dormer Window

A structure with a hipped roof that projects from the sloping roof of a building or is a continuation of the upper part of a wall so that the eave line is interrupted by the dormer. An upright window that projects from a sloping roof.

Shed Dormer Window

A structure with a shed roof that projects from the sloping roof of a building or is a continuation of the upper part of a wall so that the eave line is interrupted by the dormer. An upright window that projects from a sloping roof.

Flat Dormer Window

A structure with a flat roof that projects from the sloping roof of a building or is a continuation of the upper part of a wall so that the eave line is interrupted by the dormer. An upright window that projects from a sloping roof.

Polygonal Dormer Window

A structure with a polygonal roof that projects from the sloping roof of a building or is a continuation of the upper part of a wall so that the eave line is interrupted by the dormer. An upright window that projects from a sloping roof.

Triangular Eyebrow Dormer Window

A triangular roof dormer with no side walls; the roof simply follows the angles of the window.

Hipped-Deck Dormer Window

A structure with a hipped-deck roof that projects from the sloping roof of a building or is a continuation of the upper part of a wall so that the eave line is interrupted by the dormer. An upright window that projects from a sloping roof.
